Erin Cohen
Erin was born in California and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy: Pre-Law and Economics from the University of New Mexico in May of 2023. During her undergrad studies, Erin co-authored a whitepaper for a state-funded research grant which focused on estimating hedonic pricing models to investigate the effects of oil well density, air pollution and earthquakes on the housing market in the Permian Basin. Prior to re-entering the higher education system, Erin moved to New Mexico to work in the growing film industry in the state. While there, she saw, first-hand, the amount of waste created by the film industry, which spurred her desire to go back to school and find a path that didn’t cause so much destruction to the planet. In her free time, Erin enjoys singing karaoke and having great conversations.
