Eunice Ajibade
Bio:
During her time as a Research Assistant with Sustainable Futures in Africa (SFA)at the University of Glasgow’s Nigerian hub, Eunice collaborated with international researchers to shed light on the social and cultural impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in Africa. Her work significantly contributed to exposing previously unseen aspects of the pandemic's effects on society.
Eunice's leadership capabilities shine through her role as a student Mentor during her tenure with the National Youth Service Scheme Nigeria, where she organized impactful career mentoring outreaches to high schools, fostering guidance and inspiration among students. She also serves as a mentor for the Project for New Mexico Graduate Students of Color Mentoring Program, further showcasing her commitment to supporting and uplifting fellow scholars.
Eunice’s dynamic background showcases her commitment to driving positive change through effective project management, rigorous research, and proactive community engagement. Her current policy interests are centered around education and sustainable economic development, reflecting her dedication to shaping a better future. In her spare time, she finds joy in baking and is a talented seamstress specializing in creating custom wedding dresses.
