Joshua Meares
Joshua is a student in UNM's Economics Ph.D. program with a focus on the economics of poverty and development. Prior to commencing his doctoral studies, Josh spent 7 years working for World Relief (WR), a humanitarian relief and development organization. As the National Director of both WR Indonesia and WR Cambodia, Josh developed expertise in many aspects of international development, disaster preparedness and response, human trafficking, sustainable agriculture, and HIV prevention. World Relief's commitment to partnering with local organizations gave Josh the opportunity to develop significant experience in organizational development, project finance, as well as monitoring and evaluation.
