Kendal Chavez
Kendal Chavez is a second year graduate student studying public policy, management, organizational development, and systems theory in the UNM School of Public Administration. Originally from the San Joaquin Valley of California, Kendal has spent the last decade working in New Mexico's local food and public education sectors. Kendal is an alumna of the George Washington University Food Policy Fellowship Institute and FoodCorps, and now works to center fresh, local, and cultural foods in New Mexico schools as a program specialist for the New Mexico Public Education Department.
